Cost of registering trademark, design or model may be cut to €1,000

Brussels, 17/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - “I plan to bring the total cost linked to applying for and registering" a trademark, design or model with the Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market (OHIM) down to €1,000, said the European Commissioner for the Internal Market, Charlie McCreevy, on Tuesday 11 November, at the inauguration of an OHIM exhibition at the European Parliament (see EUROPE 9618).
