Reform of Schengen area, MEPs approve Sylvie Guillaume’s mandate to begin negotiations with EU Council

05/10/2023 (Agence Europe)On 5 October, the European Parliament approved the opening of inter-institutional negotiations on the reform of the Schengen Borders Code by 370 votes to 163, with 31 abstentions.
