Children and digital, European Parliament calls on EU to step up its efforts in areas of protection and skills

At its plenary session in Strasbourg on Thursday 5 October, the European Parliament adopted, in a vote by show of hands, a resolution on the new European Strategy for a Better Internet for Kids (BIK+).

While the text drafted by Sabine Verheyen (EPP, German) is generally complimentary of the strategy, it aims to draw the European Commission’s attention to certain aspects of its implementation.
