European Parliament reaffirms its commitment to Chisinau’s accession to EU

On Thursday 5 October, the European Parliament reaffirmed its commitment to the future accession of the Republic of Moldova.

In the joint resolution they adopted (448 votes in favour, 45 against and 43 abstentions), MEPs once again call on the Commission and the European Council to open accession negotiations with Moldova by the end of 2023.
