MEPs and Copa-Cogeca welcome European Parliament position exempting lavender producers from chemical substances regulation

On Wednesday 4 October, the EU’s agricultural organisations and cooperatives (Copa-Cogeca) and a number of MEPs, in particular French ones, welcomed the European Parliament’s vote to exempt lavender producers from the regulation on the classification, labelling and packaging of chemical substances and mixtures (‘CLP’ regulation).

Parliament has adopted its position on the proposed revision of this regulation (see EUROPE B13264A4).
