World merchandise trade expected to pick up slightly in second quarter of 2023, according to WTO

25/08/2023 (Agence Europe) – Following a 1% fall in the first quarter of 2023 compared with the same period last year, merchandise trade is set to recover slowly in the second quarter, according to the World Trade Organization (WTO) barometer published on 24 August. This indicator shows trends before the official figures are known.
