European Commission approves a new Hungarian geographical indication

25/08/2023 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission announced, on Thursday 24 August, that it had approved the registration of a new agricultural Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) from Hungary. ‘Borzag pálinka’ is a brandy made from elderberries in the Nógrád region.
