Sweden submits revised recovery plan

25/08/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 24 August, the Swedish authorities submitted a revised recovery plan, including a ‘REPowerEU’ chapter designed to accelerate the energy transition and reduce dependence on Russian hydrocarbons (see EUROPE B12921A18). According to a Commission press release, the ‘REPowerEU’chapter covers measures related to the energy efficiency of buildings and the streamlining of authorisation processes for the construction of electricity grids.
