World goods trade struggled to stabilise in first quarter, according to WTO estimates

01/06/2023 (Agence Europe) – After a fall in the volume of trade in goods in the last quarter of 2022, the trend looks set to continue into early 2023, according to the latest estimates published by the World Trade Organization on Wednesday 31 May. Its goods trade barometer stood at 95.6 for March, compared with the reference point of 100, when the trend in figures was stable.
