European Parliament gives green light to financing of technical assistance to ‘European Globalisation Adjustment Fund’

01/06/23 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 1 June, the European Parliament adopted a proposal to mobilise the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) to help workers made redundant (555 votes in favour, 28 against and 51 abstentions), with the aim of allocating, on the initiative of the European Commission, a sum of €190,000 to cover technical assistance to the EGF.
