09/11/2001 (Agence Europe) - CEPS (Centre for European Policy Studies) that was set up over twenty years ago by Peter Ludlow, will have a new President in January, the former Dutch Finance Minster, Onno Ruding. ""I remain very optimistic about CEPS future", commented Peter Ludlow, who gave up the Directorship of CEPS at the beginning of 2000 to become "Founding Director" and editor of EuroComment, in which he gives a detailed and extremely well informed analysis of each European Council. Despite his optimism, Peter Ludlow has decided to sever his links with CEPS following disagreements with its current board and will now dedicate himself to publishing comments on every European Council, which in the future will take the form of a book, and other activities.
