19/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - Next Tuesday (24 April), a conference on "The European Union and the Ukraine" will take place at the European Parliament in Brussels. Organised by, among others, the Trans European Policy Studies Association (TEPSA), this conference will assemble several figures such as the High Representative for CFSP Javier Solana, the Ukrainian Minister for Foreign Affairs, Anatoliy Zlenk, or the Ukrainian Minister for Economic Affairs, Vasyl Rohovyi. Among the themes that will be broached are the political and economic situation in the Ukraine, the energy sector, security policy and regional cooperation as well as EU/Ukraine relations.
