01/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has decided to continue the infringement procedure begun against several countries for applying trade barriers against the rules on the free movement of goods (Art. 28), these are: Greece (additional obligation of price labelling for soft drinks) and Spain (sanctions against companies marketing cleaning products containing Javel water legally marketed in other Member States), who are to be taken before the Court of Justice; - Ireland and the Netherlands, have received reasoned opinions (barriers on parallel imports of, respectively, pharmaceutical products and phyto-pharmaceutical products).
