21/10/2015 (Agence Europe) -Eurydice publication on fees and financial assistance to students. On Wednesday 21 October, the Eurydice network published its annual report on National Student Fee and Support systems and European Higher Education - 2015/16. In addition to providing a comparative analysis of the situation in 37 European countries, including the 28 EU member states, Eurydice also provides an analysis for each country and describes the main characteristics of each national system. The publication describes the different kinds of fees incumbent on students at registration, the different categories of students affected by these fees and what categories are exempt. It also indicates what support systems are proposed by the countries, in the forms of loans or grants, the tax deductions applicable and the systems regarding current benefits available to families.
