13/04/2010 (Agence Europe) - The Committee of the Regions (CoR) plenary session on Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 April will be chaired by Ramon Luis Valcarcel Siso (EPP, Spain), CoR First Vice-President. Commissioners Dacian Cioloº (Agriculture), Stefan Füle (Enlargement) and Johannes Hahn (Regional Policy), and UEFA President Michel Platini will address the meeting. Siso will act as interim chairman of the CoR after Mercedes Bresso (PES) failed to be re-elected. Following the recent elections in Italy, Bresso is no longer President of the Piedmont Region and, therefore, no longer a member of the CoR. She has been replaced by Roberto Cota (Northern League).
