26/06/2009 (Agence Europe) - It was at an annual music festival on the various Prague islands that the Czech foreign affairs minister, Stefen Fule, and his predecessor, Alexandr Vondra, symbolically passed on the EU Presidency flame to the Swedish ambassador in Prague, Rolf Ericsson. The “event” gathered a considerable crowd with 40,000 attending the free “Rock for People” festival, created in 2004 when the Czech Republic entered the EU. (P.B./transl.jl)
