30/01/2009 (Agence Europe) - EU Agriculture Commissioner Mariann Fischer Boel will be meeting the Greek Agriculture Minister Sotiris Hatzigakis on Wednesday 4 February 2009 to discuss the situation facing Greek farmers, who have been demonstrating for a week over falling prices. The Greek government has promised aid of €500 million, which the European Commission will examine when officially notified to it by the Greek government, explained a Commission spokesperson on Thursday 29 January....
