30/01/2009 (Agence Europe) - The public hearing organised on 29 January by the EPP-ED on the anti-discrimination directive has allowed real dialogue to be established between the various parties concerned and the road to realistic compromises to be opened. Shadow rapporteur Patrick Gaubert (France, UMP) stressed on this occasion, in cooperation with the other political groups, the need to achieve a flexible instrument that has true added value for those concerned.
