09/01/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 8 January, the European Commission approved the proposed acquisition of the Belgian oleochemicals producer Oleon by the French biodiesel manufacturer Diester Industrie, controlled by the French financial holding Sofiprotéol.
The activities of Sofiprotéol and Oleon mainly overlap in the production and sale of biodiesel and
