06/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - Responding to the kidnapping on Wednesday 5 November 2008 of four humanitarian workers in Somalia - two working for the NGO Action against Hunger and two pilots of a humanitarian 'Echoflight' commissioned by the European Commission, EU Development Aid Commissioner Louis Michel called on the kidnappers to release them immediately. He said that the sole aim of the aid provided by the Commission and its partners in Somalia, distributed impartially, was to save lives...
