09/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - The Transport Council adopted, on Thursday 9 October, a decision authorising the European Commission to begin negotiations with Lebanon with a view to concluding an aviation agreement with this country. This “global” kind of agreement would allow gradual opening of EU and Lebanese air markets and would involve mutual regulatory convergence with regard to aviation. (A.By./transl.jl)
