11/03/2008 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has adopted a proposal for a directive which codifies, without changing the substance, the European legislation governing motor insurance (see EUROPE 8866). Directives 72/166/EEC, 84/5/CEE, 90/232/EEC, 2000/26/EC and 2005/14/EC will be codified.
