11/03/2008 (Agence Europe) - After examination under the simplified merger review procedure, the Commission has cleared the acquisition of joint control of Biffa PLC Montagu Private Equity LLP (Montagu) of the UK and Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) of the US. Biffa collects, treats, disposes of and recycles municipal, commercial and industrial waste.
