26/11/2007 (Agence Europe) - The Belgian section of the European Movement, the oldest and largest pro-European organisation of the continent, has a new president: the Flemish MEP Anne Van Lancker (PES) took over this weekend from Charles-Ferdinand Nothomb. Ms Van Lancker, who has been a member of the European Parliament since 2004, was a member of the Convention on the future of Europe which presented the draft European constitution in 2003. (H.B.)
