26/11/2007 (Agence Europe) - The research ministers adopted a decision on Friday 23 November approving the accession of Switzerland to the agreement establishing an International Science and Technology Centre (ISTC), concluded in 1992 between the EU, the USA, Japan and the Russian Federation. The representatives of the presidency of the Council and the Commission to the ISTC Governing Board are authorised to approve Swiss accession to the agreement creating the centre. (B.C.)
