03/10/2007 (Agence Europe) - As part of the International Energy Exhibition 'Energaïa' (6-8 December), the Assembly of the Regions of Europe (ARE) is organising a conference on energy efficiency in Montpellier, France, on 7 December. The conference is entitled 'Together for a sustainable future - the commitment of the regions to rational energy use' and will focus on the EU legislative framework on energy efficiency. Debates will be facilitated by representatives of the EU institutions, like Belgian MEP Philippe Busquin (PES) and leaders of several regions of Europe.
