- Spain: Direct Investment from Abroad (DIA) in Spain in 2005 was € 16.618 million, a 10.6% fall on the previous year, indicated the Spanish Department of Industry. The telecommunications sector accounted for 44.2% of this investment alone, way ahead of the chemicals industry (7.7%), the car industry (7.5%) and real estate (6.6%). The most active investors were the Netherlands, followed by the USA, Germany, Luxembourg and France which accounted for 80% of all Direct Investment Abroad in...
