28/12/2005 (Agence Europe) - In a poll by the Taloustutkimus Institute, published on 27 December, if voting today, 49% of Finns would vote against their country joining the EU, 44% would vote against, with 8% undecided. Around a third of the 49% who would vote against say they do not want Finland to leave the EU (in a 1995 referendum on joining the EU, 57% of Finns voted in favour).
