28/12/2005 (Agence Europe) - On 9 December, the European Central Bank decided on the minting of euro coins in eurozone countries for next year, published in the Official Journal of 20 December. More than 3 billion euros worth of coins and special collectors' coins will be minted in 2006. Italy will mint the greatest number of euro coins (to the tune of EUR 772.4 mil in value).
