04/01/2005 (Agence Europe) - The African Union (AU) has decided to hold a summit in Libreville, the capital of Gabon, on 10 January to discuss a settlement of Africa's regional conflicts, AU spokesman Adam Thiam told Iter-Tass. African heads state (including South African President Thabo Mbeki, the AU's mediator to settle the conflict in Ivory Coast), will discuss the situation in the Ivory Coast, the Democratic Republic of Congo (RDC) and the Darfur region in the west of Sudan.
