ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) privatisation

- Germany: Berlin will be selling off a 12% chunk of the capital it holds in the German post office DEUTSCHE POST, valued at EUR 1.7 bn to KFW. The latter currently acts as its intermediary in privatisation operations. When the transaction is concluded, state ownership in DEUTSCHE POST is should fall to 8%, while that of KFW will increase from 36 % to around 48%.
