02/08/2004 (Agence Europe) - A month and a half after the general (and European) elections on 13 June, the new Luxembourg government is now in place. It is again headed by Christian Democrat Jean-Claude Juncker, who won the elections, and who also remains Finance Minister. After years of coalition with the Liberals, the Christian-Socialists (CSV) have again formed an alliance with the Luxembourg Labour Party (LSAP), whose leader, Jean Asselborn, Deputy Prime Minister, becomes Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration. Luc Frieden (CSV) is Minister for Justice, Defence, the Treasury and the Budget; and Fernand Boden (CSV) is Minister for Agriculture.
