29/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - French Green member Hélène Flautre has as predicted been elected to the chair of the sub-committee on human rights at the European Parliament. Vice-chairpersons are Charles Tannock (EPP-ED, UK), Richard Howitt (PES, UK), and Johan Van Hecke (ALDE, Belgium).
