British brewery group of South African origin SABMILLER, has taken over Romanian brewery AURORA for around USD 16.2 million. It concluded an agreement for acquiring 81.1% of its assets, a stake that is expected to rise to 90% after the purchase of additional shares. This operation will enable SABMILLER to bring its market share in the country to 20% and it will become the number two in the sector.
