The French company THOMSON (turnover for 2003 EUR 6.8 bn) has acquired for an undisclosed amount, two firms active in the film processing and postproduction sectors in Europe. MADRID FILMS SL (annual turnover EUR 12 million with 50 workers and INTERNATIONAL RECORDING from Italy (annual turnover 5 million with 35 employees).
