Belgian KBC has announced the repurchase, in two phases, of 65% of the capital of the Slovakian insurance firm ERGO, that it did not yet hold, from the Slovakian holding company PSIS. The amount of the transaction has not been disclosed. PSIS will remain ERGO's minority shareholder until 2004 with 25% of the shares. It will sell the rest of its stake.
