21/08/2001 (Agence Europe) - According to a survey published on Tuesday by The Guardian, a majority of British are in favour of a united Ireland. This survey shows that only 26% of British consider that Northern Ireland should remain British while 41% hope it will be united to the Irish Republic. Thirty-three percent of those taking part in the survey are of no opinion.
