The Italian specialist in latex mattresses SAPSA BEDDING (annual turnover of some 82.5 million euro with 500 employees and marketing subsidiaries in Germany, the Benelux and Spain) has just taken over America's number one manufacturer of mattresses SEALY CORPORATION, which, with a turnover close to 1.2 bn euro in 2000, claims to be the world's number one manufacturer in spring bedding.
