ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) security

The Danish company GROUP 4 FALCK (monitoring, security, alarms and emergency services) acquired 95% of the French security group EUROGUARD (turnover of roughly EUR 87 million in 1999 with 4,200 employees) for around DKR 189 million. This take-over allows the Danish company to hold 8% of the French market for security guards, the management of valuable objects and alarms.
