ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) engineering

The British group GKN is in talks with the Australian logistics group BRAMBLES on a possible merger of their industrial services sectors that would give rise to a new group held 50/50 and whose market capitalisation would amount to £7 bn. The two groups are already partners within two joint-ventures, CHEP (handling pallets) and CLEANAWAY EUROPE (waste management).
