ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) publishing

The French group CPI (turnover of EUR 409 million forecasted for 2000), manufacturer of monochrome and colour books, concluded a strategic alliance with the German publisher GEORG VON HOLTZBRINCK (turnover of EUR 2.3 forecasted for 2000) specialised in the manufacturing of books and new media. CPI will take, to this aim, stakes of 25.1% and 40% in CLAUSENETBOSSE and FRANZ SPEIGEL, two printers belonging to HOTLZBRINCK.
