ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) plastics

APPRYL, joint subsidiary of ATOFINA (51%) and BP - BRITISH PETROLEUM (49%), specialised in polypropylene, is to be dissolved and its assets shared between the two groups, due to a rapprochement between BP and AMOCO, then between TOTALFINA and ELF. APPRYL generated a turnover of 285 million euro in 1999.
