ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) oil

The Anglo-Dutch group SHELL and the British BP AMOCO announced the sale of the American company OXY - OCCIDENTAL PATROLEUM their stakes in the American fuel producing company ALTURA ENERGY (daily output of 150.000 barrels in 1999) for USD pour 3.6 billion . SHELL holds 36% and BP AMOCO 64% of ALTURA.
