The New Zealand airline company ANZ - AIR NEW ZEALAND has taken over control of 100% of the Australian company ANSETT with the acquisition of the shares held by businessman Rupert Murdoch, who owned half. ANZ will immediately spend $377 million on this acquisition, a second payment worth $65 million being foreseen later. ANZ will thus become the 20th biggest world company and will be worth $5.4 billion for a total of 24,000 employed.
