DEUTSCHE TELEKOM plans to sell a majority stake of 55% in its telecoms network in northern Rhineland-Westphalia to a consortium led by the US firm CALLAHAN ASSOCIATES. This operation values the entire network at around DEM 6.8 billion. In addition, START AMADEUS, the computerised reservation system two thirds owned by LUFTHANSA airlines and one third by AMADEUS, is said to be about to announce the signature of a joint venture agreement with T-ONLINE, the Internet branch of DEUTSCHE TELEKOM....
