The Dutch group PHILIPS has signed an agreement with Britain's TYCO for the sale of its subsidiary PROJECTS (average annual sales of EUR 300 million with a presence in 31 countries), specialised in the design of integrated electronic systems. The amount of the transaction was not disclosed. Further, acting through its PHILIPS LIGHTING division, PHILIPS has bought the 60% it did not previously own in STE -SOCIÉTÉ TUNISIENNE D'ÉCLAIRAGE- (sales of USD 10 million in 1999 with 150 employees).
