Britain's AIRTOURS (taxable profits of GBP 150.9 million for 1998-99) will be paying USD 384.7 million cash (26 dollars a share) for the American TSI -TRAVEL SERVICES INTERNATIONAL- in a friendly takeover. TSI (gross turnover of USD 1.1 billion in 1999) represents around 10% of the American market with some 450,000 cruises sold last year.
