The FUTUROSCOPE (turnover FF 626 million with 1,350 employed and 2.35 million visitors in 1999), the second most popular leisure centre in France, has been sold to the press group AMAURY (turnover FF 2.939 billion in 1998). The latter has acquired 69.5% of the shares from the department of Vienna for the sum of FF 277 million.
