According to the Wall Street Journal and the agency Bloomberg, the British giant BP-AMOCO and Anglo-Dutch ROYAL DUTCH SHELL are on the verge of selling their exploration-production joint-venture ALTURA to OXY - OCCIDENTAL PETROLEUM for $3.5 bn.
