ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) chemicals

The Belgian firm RECTICEL has bought the 35% SVENSKA SHELL held in their joint-venture NORDFLEX (BEF 1.1 bn turnover in 199 with 250 collaborators). Through this operation, RECTICEL, which already had a 65% stake, takes total control of three Swedish plants that manufacture and process polyurethane foam used in the furniture industry. The cost of the transaction has not been disclosed.
